A 78-year old retired officer of the CIA, Normand Hodges, has made a series of astonishing confessions. He claims he committed 37 assassinations for the American government between 1959 and 1972, including the actress and model, Marilyn Monroe. Hodges says he has no regrets.
In amongst his many confessions, Normand Hodges admits to being a group member of five CIA agents, whose sole task was to carry out assassinations.
He also admits one of his assassinations being none other than glamour icon Marilyn Monroe, who was killed not just because of her ties with John F. Kennedy, but also because she slept with Fidel Castro, ultimately making her a massive national security risk.
Hodges had worked for the CIA
Hodges was a CIA officer for 41 years working as an operative amongst top level security clearances: he claims he was employed as a hit-man by the organization; his duty was to assassinate individuals who posed a threat to the security of the United States of America.
He was trained as a sniper and a martial arts expert but also trained in other methods ranging from taking people out with poisons to using explosives.
Despite his old age, Hodges has managed to recall each of the assassinations he committed for the CIA. He goes on to admit that the murders were carried out on American soil and by the orders of his then commanding officer, Major James “Jimmy” Hayworth.
He also claims the timeline for the assassinations were between August 1959 and March 1972, when the “the CIA had its own agenda”.
His victims were from all walks of life ranging from journalists, union leaders, political activists, artists, and scientists – all of which were killed because their radical ideas “posed a threat to the interests of the United States”.
Hodges admits that Marilyn Monroe was the only woman he had ever assassinated, a unique target at the time. He claims she had become a significant “threat to the security of the country” and had to be eliminated.
“We had evidence that Marilyn Monroe had not only slept with Kennedy but also with Fidel Castro”, says M. Hodges. “My commanding officer, Jimmy Hayworth, told me that she had to die and that it had to look like a suicide or an overdose. Marilyn Monroe died on the 5th of August 1962. Hodges claims he entered her room while the star was sleeping, injecting her with a fatal dose of Chloral Hydrate (a very powerful sedative) that was also mixed with Nembutal – a short-acting barbiturate, which ultimately caused her death.
The FBI is taking Hodges claims very seriously and has now placed him under custody whilst a full investigation is opened to attempt to verify his allegations.
The most important witness in the case would have been Major James Hayworth, who died of a heart attack in 2011. Two other CIA assassins who were identified by Hodges are also dead. This could open up many questions about the CIA’s activities in America in that era.

The death of Marilyn Monroe , considered an Icon in the American Film industry in the late 50s and the early 60s has incidentally led to a new controversy.
This is after, a retired CIA agent had confessed on his death bed that he had killed Marilyn Monroe.
Born on the 1st of June in 1926, Norma Jeane Mortenson, later changed her name to Marilyn Monroe with her entrance to showbiz in Hollywood.
Marilyn Monroe was first married to James “Jim” Dougherty, just after she had turned 16 years.
While she has an extensive list of lovers she was married to famous baseball player Joe DiMaggio and American Playwright and essayist Arthur Miller, after a divorce of her first husband.
Her list of lovers included A-Listers from the political and the entertainment arena including the 35th president of the United States of America John F Kennedy and his brother Robert Kennedy.
On August 5, 1962 Marilyn Monroe died of a barbiturate overdose in Los Angeles. This was proved in the post mortem that was carried out.
Despite the coroner’s verdict, several conspiracy theories suggesting murder or accidental overdose have been proposed since the mid-1960s and they continue to surface even up to date. Monroe’s body was found lying face down naked on her bed at her house in Brentwood.
It was later revealed that an empty bottle of Nembutal was found near her body with one hand pointed towards the receiver of the bedside telephone.

However the identity of this individual or the credibility of his report has not been proven as yet.
The most important witness in the story after Hodges himself, his alleged commanding officer, Major James Hayworth, died of a heart attack in 2011.
Two of the other three “CIA assassins” identified by Mr Hodges are also dead, and the last one, Captain Keith McInnis, went missing in action in 1968 and is presumed dead.
However, the picture that used by international media to report this story is said to be of an infamous drug racketeer Micheal Tyrell.

The Guardian Reports that the picture of Michael Tyrrell handcuffed to his hospital bed was taken by his daughter on the day before he died.

The more elements attached to the complex, the greater its influence on the individual. Jung also believed that the personal unconscious was much nearer the surface than Freud suggested and Jungian therapy is less concerned with repressed childhood experiences. It is the present and the future, which in his view was the key to both the analysis of neurosis and its treatment.

Liddy joined the FBI in 1957,[1] initially serving as a field agent in Indiana and Denver.[10] In Denver, on September 10, 1960, Liddy apprehended Ernest Tait, one of two persons to be a two-time Ten Most Wanted fugitive.[10] At age 29, Liddy became the youngest[11] bureau supervisor at FBI headquarters in Washington, D.C. A protege of deputy director Cartha DeLoach,[1] Liddy became part of director J. Edgar Hoover‘s personal staff and became his ghostwriter.[11] Among his fellow agents he had a reputation for recklessness[1][12][13] and was known primarily for two incidents.[14] The first was an arrest in Kansas City, Missouri, during a black bag job; he was released after calling Clarence M. Kelley, former FBI agent and chief of the Kansas City Police.[1][14] The second was running an FBI background check on his future wife before their marriage in 1957,[1][14] which Liddy later referred to as “purely a routine precautionary measure”.[15]
In 1971, after serving in several positions in the Nixon administration, Liddy was moved to Nixon’s 1972 re-election campaign in order to extend the scope and reach of the White House Plumbers “special investigations unit”, which had been created in response to damaging leaks of information to the press.[21]
At CRP, Liddy concocted several plots in early 1972, collectively known under the title “Operation Gemstone“. Some of these were far-fetched, intended to embarrass the Democratic opposition.[22] These included kidnapping anti-war protest organizers and transporting them to Mexico during the Republican National Convention (which at the time was planned for San Diego), as well as luring mid-level Democratic campaign officials to a house boat in Miami, where they would be secretly photographed in compromising positions with prostitutes. Most of Liddy’s ideas were rejected by Attorney GeneralJohn N. Mitchell (who became campaign manager in March 1972), but a few were given the go-ahead by Nixon administration officials, including the 1971 break-in at Daniel Ellsberg‘s psychiatrist’s office in Los Angeles. Ellsberg had leaked the Pentagon Papers to The New York Times.[23] At some point, Liddy was instructed to break into the Democratic National Committee offices in the Watergate Complex.[24]
Liddy was the Nixon administration liaison and leader of the group of five men who broke into the headquarters of the Democratic National Committee at the Watergate Complex. At least two separate entries were made in May and June 1972; the burglars were apprehended on June 17.[25] The purposes of the break-in were never conclusively established. The burglars sought to place wiretaps and planned to photograph documents. Their first attempt had led to improperly-functioning recording devices being installed. Liddy did not actually enter the Watergate Complex at the time of the burglaries; rather, he admitted to supervising the second break-in which he coordinated with E. Howard Hunt, from a room in the adjacent Howard Johnson Hotel. Liddy was convicted of conspiracy, burglary, and illegal wiretapping.[26]
Liddy was sentenced to a 20-year prison term and was ordered to pay $40,000 in fines. He began serving the sentence on January 30, 1973. He claimed that on arrival he sang the Horst Wessel Song, the Nazi Party anthem.[5] On April 12, 1977, President Jimmy Carter commuted Liddy’s sentence to eight years, “in the interest of equity and fairness based on a comparison of Mr. Liddy’s sentence with those of all others convicted in Watergate related prosecutions”, leaving the fine in effect.[27] Carter’s commutation made Liddy eligible for parole as of July 9, 1977. Liddy was released on September 7, 1977, after serving a total of four and a half years of incarceration.[28]
Liddy was charged with two counts of contempt of Congress in March 1974, on the same day that he, Liddy, and the three Cuban burglars were charged with the Watergate-related crimes.[29] Following a bench trial on May 10, 1974, Liddy was convicted of contempt for his refusal to answer questions of the Special Subcommittee of Intelligence of the House Armed Services Committee, which was investigating the CIA’s links to the break-in of the offices of Dr. Lewis Fielding, the psychiatrist to Daniel Ellsberg.[29] Liddy was found guilty and was handed a suspended jail sentence and probation; the judge stated that the sentence was lenient because Liddy was already sentenced to prison on the Watergate charges. Liddy became one of very few people in American history to be convicted of criminal contempt of Congress.[29]

There was one journalist in particular that Nixon loathed: Jack Anderson, who’d been digging up dirt on Nixon since well before he stepped foot in the Oval Office. At the time, Anderson co-authored a daily column syndicated in nearly a thousand newspapers, reaching almost 70 million people.
He was “part freedom fighter, part carnival huckster, part righteous rogue….Anderson’s exposés — acquired by eavesdropping, rifling through garbage, and swiping classified documents — sent politicians to prison and led targets to commit suicide.”
There were few people Nixon hated more. So in 1972, his infamous henchmen — the “plumbers” — conspired to have Anderson killed.
Nixon’s dislike of Anderson stretched back 20 years. In fact, it was a story of Anderson’s, about Nixon using money from special-interest donors for his personal purposes, that occasioned the famous 1952 “Checkers” speech.
Those early dealings with Anderson, Nixon admitted, “permanently and powerfully affected my attitude toward the press,” leaving “a deep scar which was never to heal completely.”
